Our Organic Kidney Beans (রাজমা) are cultivated on certified pesticide-free farms and are among the most protein-dense and nutritionally complete plant foods available. Named for their striking resemblance to a human kidney, these deep red beans provide approximately 24g of plant protein per 100g along with exceptional quantities of dietary fiber, iron, folate, potassium, and complex carbohydrates. The combination of protein and fiber gives kidney beans an exceptionally low glycemic index, making them highly effective for blood sugar management and long-lasting satiety. Regular consumption has been associated with reduced risk of colon cancer, improved heart health through LDL reduction, and better weight management. Our organic kidney beans are free from the chemical residues that commonly contaminate commercially grown legumes. Soak overnight and boil thoroughly before use — raw or undercooked kidney beans contain lectins that must be neutralized by thorough cooking.
