Our Organic Duck Eggs (হাঁসের ডিম) come from free-range desi ducks that forage naturally along waterways and paddy fields, eating a natural diet of aquatic plants, insects, and grains without any commercial feed supplements, antibiotics, or growth promoters. Duck eggs are significantly larger than chicken eggs and have a nutritional profile that surpasses chicken eggs in almost every dimension — higher protein content (9g vs 6g per egg), more omega-3 fatty acids, more vitamin D, B12, selenium, and iron, along with a substantially richer, creamier yolk that is prized by chefs and bakers worldwide. The whites are denser and hold air better when whipped, making duck eggs exceptional for soufflés, cakes, and meringues. The shells are thicker and harder — a reflection of the duck's natural calcium intake from its environment. In Bangladeshi cooking, duck eggs are traditionally prepared as a spiced boiled egg curry or fried with mustard oil and green chili.
